The Penguins - Your Team in Bentonville, Arkansas
Modern Technology Meets Old Fashioned Customer Service
Parachuting Penguins was established in 2003 with a relatively simple concept - to create a center that could accept files for various products and services requiring professional design files. It didn't take long before there was a need to produce presentations, foam-core boards, and packaging mockups (prototypes). Hence, our graphic department shifted. Around that time, we were asked if we offered sample handling services for those who don't live in the Bentonville area. Once again, we saw the need and responded to support the logistics of handling product and packaging samples. As the retail industry evolved, our products and services ebb and flow to support our big-box business clientele. Our dedication to quality, service, and price has been the common thread throughout the years.
In 2019, the COVID outbreak forced Management to rethink the processes and pivot to stay relevant with new products and services. The Penguins also began an advanced new website and custom building to accommodate our company's modern needs to support our clients.
How did we come up with the name Parachuting Penguins?
One of our founders, David Routon, wanted to choose a name that was easy to remember. His sense of humor, light-heartedness, and a need for accuracy came through when it dropped from the sky and popped into his head. It was just goofy enough to be memorable, stood out from the corporate companies, and was fun to market. The name was a challenge when working with our vendors - once, the box arrived with the name "Pair of Shooting Penguins." Even today, we will get calls regarding whether we offer parachute lessons, etc. It is never a dull day!
Now for the version for the children and those young at heart, here is the real story ;)
